Why choose between a lightweight race setup and serious front-end protection? With the RPM Front Bumper for the Traxxas Slash 2wd and Nitro Slash, you don’t have to.
Our two-piece design gives you three ways to run your Slash. Install the bumper and skid plate for maximum front-end protection when you’re ready to send it. Heading to the track? Remove the bumper and run the skid plate by itself for a lighter, more streamlined setup. Running the skid plate alone sheds 27 grams (almost a full ounce) from the front of the truck.
When the racing is over, screw the bumper back on and your Slash is ready to take a beating again. Race mode or bash mode… You decide.
We also ditched the bulky stock chassis-to-bumper support ring. In its place, we built a thicker, more substantial skid design that helps absorb the punishment that comes with hard landings, rough terrain and full-send bashing. The wider skid rails provide additional protection and match the design of our front and rear Slash skid plates for a clean, consistent look underneath your truck.
Despite the extra beef, our complete bumper and skid plate setup weighs slightly less than the stock front bumper.* That means you can add serious protection without loading down the front end of your Slash.
