The RPM Rear Bumper for the Traxxas Slash 2wd takes its design cues directly from full-size short-course and desert racing trucks. Its wide, flat profile provides substantial rear-end coverage while giving your Slash the aggressive, race-inspired look that a proper Baja-style bumper should have.
More importantly, this isn’t just a scale-looking bumper. We molded it from our incredibly durable materials to create a rear bumper that’s ready to deal with the kind of impacts that come with driving a Slash hard. Most rear-end collisions become a lot less exciting when there’s a properly built RPM bumper standing between the impact and your truck.
And here’s the part racers will appreciate: all that protection actually weighs less than stock. Our rear bumper comes in 9 grams (18%) lighter than the stock bumper, helping keep unnecessary weight off the back of your Slash. Because when you can make a truck tougher and lighter at the same time, there’s really no reason not to.
Add Some Baja Style
We didn’t stop with protection. The bumper also includes integrated mounting points for RPM Mud Flaps #81012, giving you an easy way to add another layer of full-size racing-truck realism.
Throw on a set of mud flaps, add your favorite wheels and tires, and suddenly your Slash looks less like an R/C truck and more like a miniature desert racer waiting for the green flag.
