RPM Shock Shaft Guards are one of the simplest upgrades you can make to protect your investment in Traxxas GTR shocks. Whether your vehicle came equipped with GTR shocks or you’ve upgraded to them later, these guards help shield one of the most vulnerable parts of the suspension.
Every run exposes polished shock shafts to rocks, gravel and flying debris. It only takes one small nick or burr to begin damaging the shock seal. As the shaft cycles through the seal, that tiny imperfection can eventually lead to oil leaks, reduced damping performance and more frequent rebuilds. RPM Shock Shaft Guards help prevent that damage before it starts.
Our unique two-piece design replaces the stock spring cup. A thin, extremely durable guard is then added that extends upward to protect the front of the shock shaft. Covering more than 100° of frontal exposure, the shield blocks the most common impacts while leaving the back and sides open so mud, dirt and debris can easily escape. Best of all, the guard never contacts any moving part of the shock, providing completely friction-free protection without affecting suspension performance.
Each package includes four complete Shock Shaft Guards with all necessary hardware for installation.

Tech Notes: Fits all Traxxas GTR shocks. Compatible with 4×4 versions of the Traxxas Slash, Rustler, Stampede, Hoss and Jato platforms equipped with GTR shocks. Due to space limitations, some inner shock mounting positions on suspension arms or shock towers may not provide sufficient clearance. Not compatible with the UDR or Revo.
