Description

Does your ECX Boost, 2WD Circuit, 2WD Ruckus, or 2WD Torment refuse to track straight? Does the steering wander, shake under reverse, or refuse to center consistently? Excessive slop in the steering system almost always points to one weak link, the stock servo saver.

The factory servo saver simply doesn’t have the strength to hold a tight steering system. Under load, it flexes and shifts without driver input, causing vague handling, poor tracking, and unpredictable steering response.

The RPM Servo-Saver Eliminator Bellcrank fixes the problem at its source. This system completely replaces the stock C-clip servo-saver design with a solid, direct servo-to-tie-rod connection. By removing the loose servo saver from the steering system entirely, RPM locks the steering linkage into a single, rigid assembly. The result is precise steering input, consistent centering, and rock-solid tracking, forward or reverse.

No more wandering.
No more steering shake.
Just direct, predictable control every time you hit the throttle.

RPM Servo-Saver Eliminator Bellcranks are molded from RPM’s trademark blend of ultra-tough, engineering-grade nylons for long-lasting, worry-free performance. Each unit is backed by RPM’s limited lifetime warranty against breakage.

Tech Notes: The RPM Servo-Saver Eliminator Bellcrank replaces the bellcranks and center-link from stock #ECX1028. This system eliminates any form of servo-saver from the steering linkage. Most stock servos can become damaged if another form of servo-saver is not used. RPM recommends servo-mounted servo-savers such as those offered by Kimbrough Racing Products if some form of servo protection is desired (some modifications to the chassis or skid plates may be necessary when installing an aftermarket servo saver). Each bellcrank system comes with ultra-tight tolerance Delrin bushings but is completely upgradeable to bearings (not included) to smooth out the steering even further. For reference, bearing sizes needed to upgrade would be 2 – 3x6x2.5mm, 2 – 5x8x2.5mm & 2 – 6x10x3mm.
