The RPM Rear Bumper Mount for the Traxxas XRT improves durability by replacing a commonly broken stock part. We made it stronger in three key ways.
First, we significantly increased its height to ¾” (19mm). Next, we increased thickness to 0.2” (5.08mm). Finally, we engineered a triple-loop design on each side, featuring three curves – two small and one large. The large curve absorbs minor impacts, while the smaller curves progressively compress when the larger curve reaches its limit. This creates three distinct compression zones per side for maximum impact resistance.
Our engineering-grade nylon blend also provides a built-in memory effect. After absorbing impact energy, the material returns the mount to its original shape. Once the force is gone, recovery happens almost immediately. In practical terms, the part quickly regains impact resistance after a hit. That helps protect your truck during severe crashes with repeated impacts, such as cartwheels.
