Unlike many R/C trucks, the electric Rustler 2wd doesn’t come with a rear bumper. That leaves the back of your chassis, motor and body vulnerable when your truck backs into trouble or lands where it shouldn’t. RPM has the solution: a real rear bumper designed to protect the parts you don’t want taking the hit!
Our Rear Bumper for the electric Traxxas Rustler adds serious rear-end protection without sacrificing versatility. Keep your stock Traxxas Wheelie Bar installed (#3678, not included) or remove it and run the RPM bumper on its own. Either way, you get a setup that works with the way you like to drive.
Built to Take a Hit
We designed this bumper with impact absorption in mind. Its tough construction helps absorb the punishment of rear-end collisions while shielding the chassis, motor and body from damage.
Want to take motor protection even further? Pair the bumper with an RPM Rear Bumper Mount (#80902 or #80905, sold separately). This combination adds another level of protection to the motor area for those times when your bashing gets especially aggressive.

Tech Notes: RPM Rear Bumpers for the Traxxas Electric Rustler require a bumper mount (either a Traxxas #3677, RPM #80902 or RPM #80905 – not included) or a Wheelie Bar (Traxxas #3678 – not included) to install. If your version did not come with a bumper mount or wheelie bar, you will need to acquire one prior to installing. Works with most known Traxxas Rustler bodies. Aftermarket or non-standard bodies may require trimming for proper fit. Will not fit the Nitro Rustler.
