The RPM Front Bulkhead brings smart engineering, weight savings and serious durability to your Traxxas 2wd machine. It’s one of RPM’s most popular upgrades for a reason!
Our engineers took a close look at the stock bulkhead and spotted an issue: its mounting surface doesn’t sit perfectly flat. That can affect suspension geometry and make precise adjustments more difficult. The RPM Front Bulkhead is designed to sit level, giving your front suspension a more consistent foundation for dialing in kick angle and A-arm angles. A better setup starts with a better foundation!

We cored out the bottom of the bulkhead to help it sit flat and cut unnecessary weight. The result? An RPM Front Bulkhead that’s more than 15% lighter than stock*! The hollowed-out area also gives you a convenient place to add modeling clay for weight-bias tuning. Want to keep the front end light? Leave it empty. Need more weight up front? Add some clay and fine-tune your setup.
We even include a dust plate to cover the open bottom on vehicles like the Rustler, Stampede, and Bandit. It helps keep dirt and debris out of the bulkhead, so unwanted buildup doesn’t interfere with your setup.
Built from RPM’s tough blend of engineering-grade nylons, each bulkhead is made in the USA and backed by our limited lifetime warranty against breakage. It’s smart engineering designed to take a beating and help you get more out of your Traxxas 2wd.
Fits: Traxxas Slash 2wd, Nitro Slash, Bandit, electric Rustler 2wd, nitro Rustler, nitro Stampede and most electric Stampede 2wd versions (and their variants).
Does Not Fit: Monocoque chassis versions of the Stampede 2wd (Traxxas #136454-4).
Tech Notes: RPM Front Bulkheads for 2wd Traxxas 1:10 scale vehicles are stock replacement parts. They replace stock Traxxas #2530 & #2530A. Our bulkheads fit the following vehicles: Slash 2wd, Nitro Slash, Bandit, electric Rustler, nitro Rustler, nitro Stampede & electric Stampede 2wd (including all Stampede 2wd variants). It does not fit the 4×4 versions of any of these vehicles.
