The date is April 1st, 1974. Richard Royall and a founding partner opened the doors to Rohart Precision Molds (just in case you wondered what “RPM” stands for). They built molds for everything, from medical devices to sprinkler heads. Several years later, Richard took over sole control of the company. In 1986, Richard started building molds for other R/C manufacturers. In 1989, the RPM brand was created. For 50 years, we’ve been building molds. For over 35 years, we’ve been building R/C parts.
