RPM rear shock towers for the electric versions of the Slash, Stampede, Rustler & Bandit were designed with one thing in mind – rugged durability. Once again, we’ve exceeded our own expectations with this shock tower. While we’ve maintained all stock geometry on these shock towers, we’ve beefed them up in all the right places to eliminate annoying rear shock tower breakage. Our version of this shock tower uses an I-Beam construction that improves durability and rigidity as well. At the base of the shock tower, we’ve improved the screws’ head clearance of the bulkhead mounting screws to eliminate the bind normally associated with the stock rear shock tower. All these design elements combine to create the ultimate lightweight, bulletproof rear shock tower for the electric versions of the Rustler & Stampede.

RPM rear shock towers for the Traxxas Slash, Electric Stampede, Electric Rustler & Bandit are molded in black and are backed by our famous breakage warranty. These towers are direct replacement parts for ease of installation.

Tech Note: These rear shock towers can be used on the Traxxas Bandit. However, there are no provisions for a rear wing built into these shock towers.

Nitro Rear Shock Tower
(fits the Traxxas Nitro Stampede, Nitro Rustler & Nitro Sport)

RPM rear shock towers for the nitro versions of the Stampede, Rustler & Nitro Sport are designed with a twin I-Beam structure that significantly improves crash durability without altering stock geometry or rigidity. Additionally, we’ve altered the location of the on/off switch to be more accessible. The new location is ¼” lower than the stock version making it much easier to reach while the body of the truck is in place.

The RPM rear shock tower has been engineered with a wide, diamond-shaped opening that easily permits the stock easy-start connector to move through the shock tower allowing quick and easy removal and installation of the shock tower without disconnecting any wires.

For those Nitro Stampede owners, we added two body mounting holes in the rear shock tower so you can use 4 screws instead of 2 to secure the stock body mounts to the shock tower (additional mounting screws not included).

Front Shock Tower

RPM shock towers for Traxxas 1/10th scale trucks are designed to add strength and support to the front-end suspension components of these great vehicles. Our shock towers maintain all stock geometry while adding much needed structural strength to this vital suspension component. Our design uses an I-beam structure that adds tremendous levels of strength and rigidity that is far superior to u-shaped or flat designs. Our front shock towers will not flex nearly as easily as the stock versions yet have enough give in them, which prevents breakage from hard impacts or crashes.

RPM Caster Blocks are redesigned to slim down unnecessary bulk while improving strength and durability in this heavily impacted area. These are stock replacement items. No additional parts or modifications are necessary to mount a set to a vehicle.

RPM Caster Blocks are molded in our trademark blend of ultra durable and super strong nylons and backed by the best breakage warranty in the R/C industry. Each package contains one left side and one right side caster block.

Electric Stampede & Rustler Rear A-arms
RPM rear A-arms for the electric versions of the Traxxas Rustler & Stampede are stronger and more durable than stock versions, but we’ve also managed to eliminate over 7 grams of weight per arm! That’s 14 grams of unsprung weight eliminated with a single pair of rear A-arms! Coupled with a set of RPM front A-arms, the total weight loss exceeds 24 grams or almost a full ounce! We accomplished this without creating any weak points nor are our A-arms any more flexible than the stock versions. Additionally, we’ve adjusted the shock mount locations slightly to allow more noticeable tuning adjustments when using the inner or outer shock mount holes (while the center hole remains in its stock location). While we were at it, we eliminated over 0.030” or 1/32” of slop from the inner arm mount and more than 0.010” or slightly less than 1/64” of slop at the outer hinge pin for an ultra-smooth, slop-free suspension system.

Electric Stampede, Rustler & Slash Front A-arms
RPM front A-arms for the electric versions of the Traxxas Rustler, Stampede and Slash are built to withstand some of the toughest abuse. Incredibly, we were able to shave some unwanted unsprung weight as well. RPM Front A-arms are nearly 25% lighter than stock versions of the same A-arms, yet the RPM versions are backed with our world-renowned breakage warranty. Additionally, we’ve increased clearance areas in the outer portion of the A-arms to allow increased droop travel when used in conjunction with RPM oversized bearing carriers (RPM #80372 & #80382). RPM front A-arms for the Electric versions of the Traxxas Rustler, Stampede and Slash are sold in pairs and are available in either black or blue. These A-arms are molded with what is fast becoming an RPM trademark design of angled leading and trailing edges to reduce frontal edge mass and improve the a-arm’s ability to ride up and over tall obstacles instead of slamming into them. RPM A-arms are extremely rigid for superior ride and stability over the roughest tracks and terrain.

These carriers allow the use of massive 5mm x 11mm bearings (the same used in stock nitro Rustler / Stampede trucks) to be installed on your E-version.
