Revo Front and Rear Bumper Mounts

RPM customers already know our bumpers are some of the toughest in the R/C industry, but a tough bumper needs proper support. That support has arrived in the form of RPM bumper mounts for the Traxxas Revo. These new bumper mounts are designed to absorb serious impacts while transferring minimal impact energy into the more fragile components of the truck.

RPM engineers reviewed the stock bumper mounts and found that there were several areas that could be improved. Both the front and rear RPM bumper mounts were widened (the front more so than the rear) to allow the bumper mount material more flexing room. We also curved the center connecting rib to allow the bulkhead mounting points the ability to rotate at the mounting screws, allowing more impact absorption and less energy transference. Our last major design improvement is the one everyone is most familiar with – RPM custom-blended nylon! Our material is the toughest stuff out there with just the perfect blend of rigidity, flexibility, durability and memory.

Revo Tubular Front and Rear Bumpers
(fits all versions of the Traxxas Revo)
RPM provides the added protection the Revo needs with unbelievable strength and durability in our tubular front and rear bumpers. RPM bumpers for the Traxxas Revo are made from our bulletproof blend of nylons. RPM nylons are the best material for protecting your Revo since our materials are lightweight, inexpensive, and tougher than anything else available! We’ve reengineered the front and rear bumpers to improve strength, especially around the screw holes, which eliminates potential weak points, and we’ve designed a recessed flat where with a little creativity, anyone can add in a customized, scale license plate. Additionally, our rear bumper has a flat area perfect for adding a ball stud for a faux ball hitch (see our FAQ page of our website for more information). Our colors are molded into each bumper so scratches and nicks won’t cut through to a different color underneath. In addition, our chrome bumpers are molded over our metallic silver bumper so scratches won’t show as easily as a stock bumper (where black is the base color). RPM bumpers carry our lifetime warranty* against breakage and will hold up to the roughest of punishment.

Head Guard for Traxxas 2.5 & 2.5R Engine Heads
  The RPM Head Guard was designed to withstand the toughest of rollover crashes and beg for more. Our head protector has an additional 0.100” or almost 1/8” of additional thickness on top to add extra skid and impact resistance to the fragile cooling fins of the stock Traxxas 2.5 & 2.5R heads. Additionally, our Head Guard has a positive locking system that absolutely will not allow the Head Guard to pull itself free during a crash.

The RPM Head Guard is designed specifically for the Traxxas 2.5 & 2.5R stock engine head which is currently used in many Traxxas models including the Revo, Jato, T-Maxx, S-Maxx, SportMaxx, Nitro 4-Tec 2.5, & Nitro Rustler 2.5. The RPM Head Guard comes with a full set of screws as well as complete installation instructions. They are available in Black, Blue, & Dyeable Silver and are molded in our trademark blend of bulletproof nylons for strength and durability unmatched by any other material on the market!
