
Head Guard for Traxxas
2.5 Engine Heads
The RPM Head Guard was designed to withstand
the toughest of rollover crashes and beg for more. Our head protector has
an additional 0.100” or almost 1/8” of additional thickness on top to
add extra skid and impact resistance to the fragile cooling fins of the
stock Traxxas 2.5 head. Additionally, our Head Guard has a positive
locking system that absolutely will not allow the Head Guard to pull
itself free during a crash.
The
RPM Head Guard is designed specifically for the Traxxas 2.5
stock engine head which is currently used in many Traxxas models including
the Revo, T-Maxx, S-Maxx, SportMaxx, Jato,
Nitro
4-Tec 2.5, & Nitro Rustler 2.5. The RPM Head
Guard comes with a full set of screws as well as complete
installation instructions. They are available in Black, Blue,
& Dyeable
Silver and are molded in our trademark blend of
bulletproof nylons for strength and durability unmatched by any other
material on the market!
Tech Note: There are many manufacturers producing aftermarket heads that fit
the Traxxas 2.5 engine but the RPM
Head Guard has only been tested and guaranteed to fit stock Traxxas 2.5
& 2.5R heads.

axle carriers aren’t quite strong enough to handle the punishment
T/E-Maxx owners dish out. In addition, more strength is needed at the axle
carrier when offset wheels are used or when aluminum accessories and
oversized wheels & tires add more weight and stress to the driveline.

RPM bumpers are known

into our newest bumpers for the T-Maxx & E-Maxx. These bumpers are not
only the strongest bumpers made, they are extremely lightweight and have a
scale, realistic appearance. Our front bumper adds extra protection with a
lower, tubular bar extending down to help absorb impacts that would have
been taken by the front skid plate alone. We’ve also strengthened the
areas around the screw holes, eliminating a potential weak point. Our rear
bumpers have the scale appearance of a step bumper found on most
full-sized trucks. Our rear bumper weighs the same as a stock bumper, yet
is stronger, and supports the rear skid plate for added rear-end
protection. In addition, we’ve designed a recessed area where you, with
a little creativity, can add in a customized, scale license
plate or a ball hitch! All of our
bumpers are offered in multiple color choices and are guaranteed not to
break! All colored bumpers have the color molded in, not dyed, for long
lasting color, even when scratched. Our "Chrome" finish bumpers
